The aim of REACH: avoid risks.

The EU chemicals regulation REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) EC No. 1907/2006 came into force on June 1, 2007. It applies directly in every EU member state. The main objective of the REACH regulation is to ensure a high level of protection of human health and the environment from possible chemical-related risks. There are therefore certain registration and information obligations for the supply chain.
